Lush Travel Sequences (Low Intermediate Workshop)

Practice clean details that make entrance and travel sequences look polished, professional, and fully put together. Building on a simple footwork sequence–step-hold, step, step–we create interest by layering multiple variations on our steps and holds. The layers we combine include: chest drop accent, upper body turn, sway accent, heel lift, knee lift, undulation, pivot, countertwist, arabesque, and ball-change.
The workshop begins with a step-by-step breakdown and slow practice for each layer variation. Then, in follow-along flow format, we practice layered sequences with midtempo and uptempo music.
Lush Travel Sequences contains a warmup, and is just under an hour long. This program is recommended for dancers at or above a low intermediate level.
